Fatal crash on State Road 37

On 02/07/2025, at approximately 11:34 am, officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area of State Road 37, southwest of Barnett Rd.  Upon arrival, officers and medics located a red SUV and black passenger car, on State Road 37, that appeared to be involved in a head on collision.  A preliminary investigation indicated that the SUV was traveling northeast and the passenger car was traveling southwest when for unknown reasons, one of the vehicles crossed over the center line, resulting in a head on collision.  Drivers of both vehicles were adult males and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
