Drug Bust Leads to Three Suspects Being Arrested

UPDATED RELEASE:

As a part of the ongoing investigation reported below, officers with the Allen County Drug Task Force requested and received an additional search warrant on September 19, 2024. The ACDTF recovered additional narcotics related to the investigation, to include; 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 2.25 pounds of cocaine and 2.5 pounds of black tar heroin.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On September 18, 2024, members of the Allen County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department’s SWAT team, the Fort Wayne Police Department’s EST, the New Haven Police Department, the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department, the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department, the Auburn Police Department, the Indiana State Police and Special Agents from the DEA, executed search warrants on Willard Drive and Lafayette Street in Fort Wayne, IN, reference a narcotics investigation.

Seized from the Willard Drive location: 384.1 grams of Fentanyl, 1,012.1 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine and a large amount of United States Currency.

Seized from the Lafayette Street location: a stolen firearm, 28.4 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 19.6 grams of Marijuana and a large amount of United States Currency.

Three subjects are currently in custody:

Arrested: Analycia Perez – DOB: 12-16-1996
Charges: DEALING IN COCAINE OR NARCOTIC DRUG – 35-48-1(a)
NO BOND

Arrested: Destiny Garcia – DOB: 03-13-1998
Charges: DEALING IN COCAINE OR NARCOTIC DRUG – 35-48-1(a)
Bond: $100,000

Arrested: Jeronimo Bertoldo Barraza – DOB: 09-30-1981
Charges: DEALING IN COCAINE OR NARCOTIC DRUG – 35-48-1(a)
Hold also placed on Barraza by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement)
NO BOND
