At approximately 4:00pm, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the 3500 blk of S. West Hamilton Rd. in reference to a Personal Injury crash. Units arrived on the scene and located a vehicle had crashed into a tree. The driver, a 67 year old male, was extricated from the vehicle by fire personnel and transported to a local hospital in serious condition. At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown and is under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. The driver does not have life threatening injuries per the local hospital.

On April 15, 2024, at approximately 4:25 P.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to the 21 mile marker on I-469 Northbound, reference a crash involving multiple vehicles.

On March 16, 2024, at approximately 8:40 P.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff's Department responded to the area of Tonkel Road, north of Cedar Springs Blvd., regarding a vehicle verses pedestrian crash.
