Vehicle into lake

On Tuesday June 18, at approximately 0636 hours, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department along with West Central Fire Department and the Fort Wayne Fire Department Dive Team responded to Lake Everett in reference to a reported vehicle into the lake. Fort Wayne Fire divers entered to water and located the vehicle. Divers confirmed there were no victims inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Once the vehicle was removed from the water, the vehicle was confirmed to have been reported  stolen  from Churubusco, IN in December 2023. There were no injuries reported.
