Vandalism at Allen County Courthouse

On February 2, 2024, at approximately 7:26 P.M., a male white suspect approached the Allen County Courthouse and broke out glass on the entry doors, using a sledge hammer.
With the assistance of the United States Marshal’s Office and local Saipan police, Charles Dewey was arrested on numerous warrants from Allen County. Mr. Dewey has made an initial appearance in a Saipan court, Mr. Dewey has waived extradition and will be extradited to the United States at a later date. Mr. Dewey has active warrants out of Allen County for Level 1 Felony Rape, 3 counts Level 4 Felony Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Level 5 Felony Child Solicitation, Level 4 Felony Failure to Appear on Child Solicitation and several Misdemeanor warrants. This investigation is ongoing. The warrants were issued in 2020 and 2021.
