One Deceased in Two-Vehicle Crash

On November 11, 2023, at approximately 10:30 P.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the area of Coldwater Road and Watervale Cove, reference a person injury crash. Upon arrival, officers and medics located two vehicles involved.

A preliminary investigation indicated there was a northbound SUV on Coldwater Road, just north of Watervale Cove. There was a southbound passenger car on Coldwater Road, just north of Watervale Cove, that swerved for unknown reasons. The SUV and passenger car collided.

The driver of the passenger car was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital in fair condition. A passenger in the SUV was not injured.

This incident remains under investigation.
